Mission
The Gowanus Studio offers space, equipment and much-needed support to emerging designers, artists and craftspeople.
Located in the historically industrial neighborhood along the Gowanus Canal in Brooklyn, The Studio houses a large industrial arts workshop as well as private studio and exhibition space.By providing eventspace, workspace, tools and resources, The Gowanus Studio hopes to encourage cross-pollination between the art and design communities; support new business and design projects; and establish an arts resource for the surrounding community.
