Membership is open to artists, designers, and craftspeople who need affordable space, facilities and community to bring their work to life.
We have been an incubator to many artists as they develop their careers further.
Unfortunately, we do not have the proper ventilation to support oil painters.
Membership Rates
Initial Membership Fee
Each member is required to pay an initial, one-time only, lifetime membership fee of $350.
Even after you leave us, we honor your membership for discounts on workshop fees and other benefits.
Monthly Membership Rates
Members pay a basic membership rate, with the option to rent storage space or a private studio, when available.
Basic Membership | $245 / mo.

Membership + Closet | $270 — $310 / mo.
- Includes access to all tools, equipment, and open workspaces
- Private 2’ d x 4’ w closet for storage.
Membership + Large Closet/Bay | $385 — $545 / mo.
- Includes access to all tools, equipment, and open workspaces
- Private 5’ w x 7’ d x 8’ h storage bay.
Membership + Private Studio | $630 — $970 / mo.
- Includes access to all tools, equipment, and open workspaces
- Private, white-walled studio space.
How to Join
Fill out our online application to apply for membership and/or schedule a tour.
Once applied, your application will be reviewed and are welcome to schedule a tour view the space.
We review applications on an ongoing, monthly basis. Once you are accepted, you can become a basic member right away. Note that while we are frequently accepting new members, turnover for private studios tends to be slow, typically a few times per year. All members are welcome to use the general work area and shops. In order to keep the shops from becoming too crowded, applications are evaluated in part based on which facilities applicants expect to use most frequently.
Memberships are month-to-month with no long term commitments and just require 30 days written notice of termination of membership. We do however encourage our members to stay for at least 1 year. There is no limit to how long you can be a member!
Tours
We run open houses throughout the year and also offer individual tours so that you can learn more about membership and see the space. To schedule a tour or find out about our next open house, please contact us or submit an application.
